Harrow town centre is an unmitigated hole.

Some of south and north harrow, going towards Pinner, is quite nice and well-to-do, I think.

Harrow is quite variable.

I'd be better off more central London, towards Harrow or even outside London and commuting in. Nice to get words of wisdom off here though.

Mind it's been a few years since I was last in those parts, my aunt & uncle used live down there. Well Pinner Green to be precise, I spent loads of time around there growing up.
