Anyone?

Knew Sir Mark was up to something...horse backed off the boards in the Northumberland Plate but got stuck in the heavy ground. Given a break and brought back in a average handicap at York and shows a fine turn of foot before the jockey put the handbrakes on....obviously the money wasn't down at York and who cares for a handicap with low prize money.

Rand at goodwood on Saturday needing to win well in order to for the handicap to put his weight up enough for the Ebor and boy did he do it....dead last turning in and in the space of 100 yards was stalking the leaders...won by 7 lengths going away. Clearly a horsie with a ton in hand.

Can't really see him being beaten especially creeping in the EBOR off a mega low weight.

Looks like the plan all along....

1 they went for a big one in the Plate so they obviously know he's top class.

2. Targetted the EBOR....First with a nice prep run over the course to see how he got on...quickened up brilliantly

3. next find a suitable race to get him into the Ebor...done and dusted on Saturday.

6/1 looks way to big. Should get on straight away. I can easily see this beast going off as short as 2/1. Layers/bookmakers wont stand in the way of a Sir Mark Prescott old school slaughterhouse gamble.
