Truly epic.
The hurdles, water, fences....the last fence in the home straight with 75m left to run was pretty classy too.
Laughed my arse off when Kemboi did a Mickel Barzalona and was celebrating before the winning line.
-----
Would like to see the race modified...maybe have a double fence to jump like at Galway ie two fences 10m apart....you have to nail the first one spot on or you're down at the 2nd one.
Also include a stone wall like at Punchestown and a Hedgerow like in the Grand National.
For those who aren't aware the origins of steeplechasing is back from the old days in Ireland when racers would race cross country from 1 church steeple to another.
These fine traditions need to be incorporated into the race.
Maybe even have an extended 10000m even called the Grand National.
