As it happens I was living in Wexford town in 1996, possibly the best ever time to live there.

they'd try and stay clear of the competition from the Olympics in order to maximise interest, but the typical cricket viewer is perhaps not that interestet in the olympic events.

the two best teams in the world. This game is taking place up in Yorkshire.

Quite frankly, sod the Olympics, in other words. Although, England can, of course, easily handle hosting both without breaking a sweat.

Well, I guess we would also probably host winter sports that aren't in the olympics even if it were during the olympics.
