With spring onions, steamed babycorn sliced in half lengthways, and blanched tenderstem, spouting purple broccoli then chargrilled in a griddle pan, and wafffffferrrr thin slices of raw beef.

When we got a beef joint, I cooked half, but the rest I cut in two {c.300g each} and put in the freezer. So I took one out yesterday, and let it start to defrost. After an hour or two, as it got soft around the edges, but was still mostly frozen, I was able to slice it really thinly. The heat of the soup warms it up.

And Puddle Paws loved the raw beef we gave him.

These packet foods are ace. Cheap, easy, and yet you can create your own dishes. Well chuffed.
