What is it with these lefties and the Jew-baiting?

One of the leaders of Momentum appears to have been criticising the use of the word Holocaust to define the death of 6 million Jews, claimed more Gypsies per head of population were killed; said she cannot find a definition of 'anti-semitic' she's happy with and criticised Holocaust Memorial Day for not recognising 'other Holocausts'.

Shami Chakrabarti's gonna need a bigger bucket of whitewash.

It must stem from when they got into bed with radical Islam, perhaps?

Of course, one might be tempted to say that it simply reinforces the point that National Socialism was a, erm, socialist doctrine. But I'd never do so.

Isn't it as much to do with its foundational hatred of international capital and the Jewish role therein? I think the radical Islam thing was just a meeting of minds.

The funny thing is that they just cannot leave it alone. It's pathological.

Are you listening to the Dear Leader?

This is some sub-fifth form stuff.

I think it comes from that very left-wing thing (see Hitler, A.) of assuming there is some giant Zionist conspiracy.

Of course the Gypsies alos suffered a holocaust but that can be pointed out without getting into my holocaust is bigger than yours territory.

Following it on a feed. Bankers..blah...renationalise railways...blah...living minimum wage...hang on, did he just say he wants to remove the council spending cap and let them borrow against their housing stock? Ermmm...borrow from whom exactly? Would it be...banks? who, if not paid back would presumably be entitled to repossess council properties?

Did he also suggest that he possesses a mandate and Theresa May doesn't? Dear God, he actually doesn't appear to understand how our political system works at all!

He's like a kid in the lower sixth with a poster of Che on his wall who's doing politics in General Studies and has got right into it, man.

Wait, I'm doing hima disservice, he's got a completely new radical strategy:

Tax and spend, tax and spend, tax and spend.

The man is an economic genius.

I had a rather robust exchange with his Royal Highness Ian of Harvey on Facebook about the banking crisis. No matter how hard I tried I could never get him to understand, or at least admit he understood, that the banks who lent irresponsibly were lending to people who were borrowing irresponsibly, and that those people were also to blame.

Nope, it was the banks. People, provided they are working class, are always the victims. I expect Jeremy and Ian would get along famously.

Yes, I always blame myself if my customers decide not to pay their bills or ignore their debts
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
