It's Starmer. Nobody can see that guy as a Prime Minister. Doesn't matter what he says or does between now and the vote.
That revolt over the Gaza vote now means the Tories can play up the ghost of Corbyn argument.
Then there is Scotland. Without Scotland, Labour would need to win more than 300 seats in England. Blair pulled that off but Starmer wont.
Hung parliament, Tories as biggest party, just about.
But people tell me I'm crazy
Well, you are crazy, Peter, surely we can all agree on that
That doesn't make you wrong, however. Crazy people are frequently correct. And in this case, I agree. Corbyn/McDonnell/Abbott ruined labour for at least two elections. As I recall, no party has ever lost as badly as they did and then won the next election.
So it's nailed on then
I very much fear that our next government will consist of a nasty coalition of foul socialists and piss wet libdems - with a possible smattering of demented greens
Who is going to vote conservative? Actual conservative voters won’t vote for this collection of limp-wristed morons with their left-of-Blair agenda, while non Conservative voters have been somehow convinced that they’re to the right of Mussolini.
I’m going to draw a cock and balls on my card.
People will vote Conservative for the same reason they always do- fear.
Fear of Corbyn, fear of foreigners, fear of change, fear of worse. Take your pick.
Sunak has a major disadvantage with the right of the party's core vote in that he is... how can I put this.... not white! But they'll get over it.
For the younger right wing vote, yes. But the older Tories in the shires- no. Also, he isn't nearly right wing enough for them. Some of them will stay home, others will find a bigger ******* to vote for instead.
It is telling that they are focusing on shoring up their right flank rather than trying to steal the centre from Labour. Sunak clearly feels there is nothing to beat in the centre as long as he can hold up his own flank.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.
"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
