I'm quite happy with the retail options in the area.
saves me having to do shopping on weekends.

Now, see I used to think that but now we live a stones throw from Trafford Centre, it's brilliant. If it's packed I can just turn around and go home with no bother. Clearly it's a complete no-go zone from November to mid-January though.
