Does it make much difference when listening through in ear headphones? And what is the buffering like? Apple drops out a lot on the train when the signal drops but Spotify is much better for retaining a good buffer through those periods.
Thanks to Ears for the Tidal (Hifi quality) login, actually quite noticeable the difference in sound quality over Spotify....not sure if after 6 months free trial I'd pay an extra £10 month over Spotify though.

Only used at home (on Sonos), tried various tracks through Spotify and then compared against Tidal.....you really do notice quite a big difference, greater clarity and a far more more pleasurable listen (not that Spotify is terrible at all).
I only stream at home and download everything else for mobile listening. Will try both on train home tonight and compare (Bose Noise cancelling headphones)
