I have seen both programmes before and particularly dislike the “Discovering …” one where journalists are rolled out to state the obvious. One even refers to his forming TSC with Steve Talbot who I assume is a robot, a robotic clone of Steve White and Mick Talbot who we all know were 2 of the other permanent members of the much maligned band.

The second “Video Killed …” I was struggling at times to hear them converse.

All in all most unsatisfactory.

Only caught the end of the first one. The second did indeed have terrible audio mixing but mostly it reminded me how much the Style Council were not to my tastes and why I was so disappoint at the time that he split up The Jam for THAT. Also the very gay video in the boat. NTTAWWT of course.

The video is quite remarkable and of the time. I wonder if TOTP showed it or was it just too risque for the Beeb.
