From the Times sketch

"Poor Jeremy Corbyn did not get off to the best of starts. The Labour leader began by expressing his condolences to the family of a policeman in Northern Ireland who had been shot and killed on Sunday. Nothing wrong with that apart from the chap being still alive. In fact, the police say he is “recovering well”. An innocent error but a cringing one, though not as bad as if he had said that a dead man was on the mend."
