In some ways, the amount of goals we have scored is misleading. We certainly didn't set out to score that many.Once upon a time we gave clean sheets a bad name. Now we've given goal-scoring a bad name too.

I believe we once scored the most ill-advised goal in history, at Spurs in 71. Needing a win or 0-0 draw to clinch the title we took a 1-0 lead with a minute left of a game that was petering out as a 0-0 draw. Spurs then came screaming forward for the last couple of minutes looking for an equaliser that would have handed Leeds the title.
