    Careful what you wish for fellas talking about AWIMB being back to a

    semblance of its old self. Headgear may come back like The Candyman and start banning all and sundry for having the temerity to dispute his own worldview.

    Did Monty just fade away quietly or did he announce his retirement?

    True. But at least there were loads of posters back then.

    The Doc was a decent chap. He was just going through a difficult time.

    I don't think Monty flounced but I understand people simply migrated over to the Twitters.

    "But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

    Doc was a great bloke but he lost the plot with the modd thing. I had no doubt modd

    was a wind up and Headgear issued a ridicules edict that anyone posting their doubts about modd being real would be banned. Anyway, back in the heydey, circa 1999 - 2005 ‘ish, he was great fun.

    Oh *******s, has the dirty c**t cancer been hitting your family C? Got my mum and dad in the last 8 years. Had a cancer scare myself about 4 years ago. When you’re a big fraidy cat like me, hearing the C word is like a nightmare you have as a kid when a primeval demon is hovering outside your bedroom window.
