Apparently General Kai starts for Germany as a "Linksverteidiger" tonight.

Don't think we've tried that one yet, have we. Maybe that's where we've been going wrong
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

And he promptly reveals himself to be the goal-scoring false full back we needed but didn't know we had!

We have Zinchenko. He must be a false full back because he certainly isn't a real one

lol. Right. That's why they call them "inverted" nowadays; it's Political Correctness gone mad, if you must know. Nonsense.

Wouldn't have happened in the old days. Midfield formations were practically set in stone: You had one chap who could shoot, the "Attacking midfielder." Another who could tackle who was called the Defensive Midfielder. Added to one headless chicken-type with a good engine who played box-to-box, there was always the fourth who had failed to master any of these roles so was named "Captain".

    When football was football, see.
