    So, apparently the two-footed lunge from that Spurs player

    was only a yellow card because he largely missed. Had he caught Sterling full and broken his ankle, yeah, that would have been a red.

    Following that logic, if you swing a punch at an opponent and miss, it is only a yellow card.

    And a two-footed, studs up lunge that could easily end an opponent's career deserves the same punishment as taking a tiny bit too long to take a throw in.

    Football is utterly ****ing bonkers.

    A remember some old man a few years back (probably about 20) talk about orange cards for those fouls that were not quite enough for a red but clearly worse than a yellow. Wonder what happened to him

    Yesterday's two-footed lunge from Nick Ramsdale was worse. Clumsy, poorly-timed and unnecessary.

    He really ought to know better .. Unless he DOES
