HE needed that, WE needed that.

    wd the #14.

Patience is no sin, as the man said.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Excellent quality hat-trick. Fair play to him.

Yup. Other clubs just have a 9. We have a 9 and a 14. Hope he catches Auba soon and starts working his way towards Feo.....

Chapeau. Much depends upon Nketiah’s ability to step up to the next level and assert his ambition to be an automatic starter. Jesus has an affinity with the physio table and looks likely to spend a period on the sidelines during any season. The opportunity is there, at least until Arteta dives into the transfer market again.

Still buzzing over that hattrick, to be honest. Absolutely top drawer!

Or was it just one of those matches, practically every striker has at least once in his life, where he looks like a hundert-million dollars?

Not sure about that but it is a fact* that his third goal was from a longer distance than his other 36 goals for Arsenal combined

If he can add more of those 25 yarders, that would be great! What a strike.

Then we'd have about five or six blokes all constantly lining up potshots from outside the box. No good, imo. Anti-football.

I want Eddie to be the new Ian Wright; he rarely scored from distance, at least once Wenger knocked that sort of thing out of him. And we were better off for it.
