I'm not denying that. But if we're honest about it. The whole last season the debate was always about who was the league's best cm, Partey, Casemiro or Rodri. Rice despite being very good wasn't at that table last year. I support the signing 100% all the same.

That was such a shame, wasn't it? Still, 21m for Xhaka and 35m for Partey isn't bad. Neither were getting younger.

Given that this is the self proclaimed transition from stage 3 to stage 4 of Arteta's 5 Stage Plan; makes you wonder what 4 to 5 might be like. Super Mik Arteta said it himself; This project is going to go bang.
