Post Holy....RP tipping up Frankfurt tonight

Didn’t expect that...thought they would’ve banked on Unai.

    Eintracht Frankfurt
    2pts 21-10 bet365

    Match preview

Eintracht's holy trinity strike force has disappeared but the Germans still pose enough of a threat to take care of Arsenal in their Europa League Group F opener at the Commerzbank Arena.

Luka Jovic, Sebastien Haller and Ante Rebic, who between them amassed 41 Bundesliga goals for the Frankfurt side and another 16 in this competition, have departed the club.

It means a new-look frontline permed from the likes of Andre Silva, Goncalo Paciencia and Bas Dost, who had been a big deal at Sporting in the previous three campaigns.

And it's so far, so good for coach Adi Hutter, whose team have played five and won five on home soil this season with narrow league losses at Leipzig and Augsburg the only blots on their record.

The Eagles, who pushed Chelsea all the way in last season's semis before Arsenal rolled over against the same opponents in the final, are formidable at home and look overpriced.

Unai Emery, whose pedigree in this competition is beyond question, will ring the changes as he always does, so the likes of Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson can expect to be key figures.

He has also got players come back from injury, though not Alexandre Lacazette, and Emery must be careful not to over-exert Pierre-Emerick Aubame*yang during the Frenchman’s absence.

Arsenal are without a win in three and have conceded at least two goals in each of those games.

Indeed, they have kept only one clean sheet in 13 and for all Emery's endeavours in bolstering his back line, they look as fragile as ever.

    Play the kids tonight.

    Accept defeat.

    move on, imo.

will still qualify from the group.
