    Monthly direct debit for road tax

    Actually I did it for a laugh.
    my tax was only £20 so I for a laugh set up a direct debit. £1.75 to the DVLA every month

    Mine was just under £400.....still think that's too much

    I have been sensible in not buying a new car yet.

    But i will bide my time, we bought the flat, the kitchen is paid for, so i will convince the missus that a new car is in order.
