    Now I'm no expert either, but surely yesterday will come to be

    recognized as the death knell of test cricket. A whole generation of fans will emerge without the attention span or appetite for the real game, not to mention commercial interests.

    Don't matter, Herbs. That's not going to make people pay for Sky if they don't already. If people didn't pay the subs after the Ashes 2005, when the whole country was following the whole series, one afternoon won't make a difference.

    Wiggins' TdF win was on ITV. It's not like it got loads of people to start watching, and that's on FTA anyway.
