1. Then why did we have that game where Woakes came in at 3 or whatever? Our injuries in the field meant one slogger (Morgan??) couldn't bat below 7 while another had to wait a certain number of overs, I think.

2. Can a sub fielder go in the slips or other specialist position? If Root had "picked up an external injury" we might have got Sharma out for 90 less runs.
