We’d have more chance in the long term. He’s a sleeping investor who has bought a strong asset in a growing market.

In maybe 20-30 years his son may cash in.

Until then don’t expect any risks.

All I want is for him to invest so that we can stay competitive with City, Liverpool, United & Chelsea (I say 'stay' but we are a fair way off now anyway). That means making money available for whoever is in charge/the recruitment team. It is clear that this money is not available for recruitment and that the board are happy to maintain the status quo. It is their business and they are doing absolutely nothing wrong by acting in this way.

well 2 of the clubs you mention we are ahead of 1 and 4 points behind the other, so I guess we are competitive with them.
