What is is with JK Rowling and retrospectively making her characters shirtlifters?

I mean they're her characters and she can do what she likes with them, but these are kids' books and it just comes off as weird.

Also, if these things are the 'real' story, why wouldn't she...y'know...write a book about them?

Quite so. But why is this middle-aged author of children's fiction spending her time fantasising about wizards back-scuttling one another?

I mean it's really rather unsavoury, isn't it?

Hermione will have suffered at the hands of her abusive uncle due to her being a 'witch'

She is a socialist. They are disgusted by decency, morals and good manners. They seek to make everything as filthy and disgusting as their vile minds and lives.
