I've long said this, t. T20 should kill the 50-over format (which is essentially T20 with 30 really boring overs stuck in the middle).

Mind you, when we put 440 odd on against the Aussies, that was fun

The chase last night was fun, just because we made it look easy. Do think our bowling needs to improve if we are to win the world cup though - can't be relying on getting 350 each time as the Champions Trophy showed

Indeed - only saw the last 100 or so runs but I believe Roy had a few lifes. Fortune favours the brave though. They had some big units out there - NURSE!

But then the BCCI have far less time in which to flog SIM cards so it won't ever happen, will it?

Game was over when Windies fell well short of 400. Writing was on the wall when England got the 100 up and in cruise control from 200 onwards.

Gayle was too slow and they gave away too many wickets...Hetmyer and Pooran were completely needless dismissals. The former is frustrating as Iwobi. Every time he comes to the crease the commentators go crazy on the hype then nothing but plenty of debate after about his good he actually is...

They have the wrong Bravo in the side. Get Dwayne back so at least he can give you 4 or 5 overs of his bowling as an option. That would’ve been handy yesterday especially as he knows these guys from the T20 circuit.

Braithwaite has been useless since those 4 sixes vs Stokes...he’s their Granit Xhaka.

A couple of those missed catches weren’t exactly complete gimmies. They were actually pretty high on the difficulty level.

Thought Morgan’s handling of Rashid was excellent. Very calculating. England look in good shape for the WC...they have it within them to win both the ODI and T20 cups imo
