Not lesbian porn, not today. At least not yet anyway. No, it's just that this is last I heard of old So Vain, from a few years back ..

"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

An underappreciated player in my view, perhaps because he landed at the club when we had a stellar line-up the likes of which we have not seen since nor are probably likely to.

A supporting cast member to compliment the genuine world class talents of Cole, Campbell, Vieira, Gilberto, Pires, Henry and Bergkamp.

Footballing garnishes to the main food item, as such.

I would have included FL as a garnish, others thought of him as the rib eye steak.

I'd have had Freddie down as the bearnaise; more than a garnish and essential for the chips, but not the main event.

I can't believe you left out Kanu. A special, uncommon talent if ever there was one.

'Dropped' was a rather apt name for the programme.

So what was Ray Parlour, then?

Indeed. But sadly some people have simply no sense of humour.

    A better player than Ljungberg.
