    I try not to follow all this angst too closely because it's depressing and unnecessary but from what I have seen and read, I'm really struggling to see how we end up out of the customs union without a hard border somewhere; either in Ireland or between Ireland and England.

    All of which leads me to believe that we will end up with some sort of fudge which keeps no one happy.

    Some of your politicians clearly don't know what they are talking about either so in the absence of the public and the elected politicians who should be allowed to vote?
