    Stokes free. Get in.

When the thug with the metal bar scores a ton and takes a five fer down under then he can have justice. Until them, go swing.

Lucky lucky man imho.... shouldn't get picked for the next game anyway after how they played in the last

ISTR Rob Key the other night saying he'd ditch Curran and put Stokes back in.

Still likely to get a ban, though it may well take in to account games already missed. But when available he walks into the team - he was vitally important in the Test before which was actually a contest in decent (or at least better) conditions. If it comes down to a choice between two of Stokes, Buttler and Woakes for 6 & 7 there isn't really a choice to be made

Why? Curran has done well, leave him in and give him more experience ahead of away tours... and sends a signal to Stokes that he doesn't just walk back in

Not at Trent Bridge - probably ideal ground for Curran. In the long run that might be the call I would guess

Me too. Curran's a decent little bat, but he's not better than Stokes either as a bat or a bowler.

How fat is Rob Key these days, btw?

Curran's never going to be any use on away tours.

He missed the Ashes while being accused of a crime he did not commit. I don't see that any further ban can possibly be justified.
