Thread: Chambers almost out the door then.

Chambers almost out the door then.

Looks like Unai doesn’t think the lads up to it. He’s probably been here long enough to have made his mark, particularly given the poor state of our central defence.
Loan spell with a view to offloading ?
Looking like we could still benefit from a quality central defender. Boateng looks like he’s surplus at Bryan

He looked like his legs had gone at the world cup.

Central defenders - the most variable of all footballers in terms of their form over a period of time. When he first joined us I seem to recall Chambers being forced into the team because of injury and looking very, very good.

Meanwhile, my recollection of Boateng is primarily how utterly awful he looked for City.

Not sure he was fully fit and the first game when the midfield and full backs decided to **** off and leave him and Hummels to deal with Mexico's attack on their own. They were ****ed after that

    Good signing for Fulham.

Good luck to him...hopefully he comes back a better player.

Good old Fulham. One of those sides about whom I can't muster any negative emotions whatsoever. There should be more sides like that in the league.

Chambers has been here about fourteen years too long.
