If you mean me, s, then no. If by chance you are referring to the back of my Ford Capri in the car park of Finchley Golf Club, I would congratulate you on your powers of recall and ask if you are a 60 year old Jewish lady called REDACTED

I did recall the brief event taking place in a golf club car park but did not want to appear too fash
Also I had in my mind a VW Beetle

And no I am not a 60 year old Jewish lady with a chemical name

Capri 2.8i. Black, it was. A beautiful car. It was later stolen from outside a different lady's house while I was engaged in certain intimate activities, this one in Welling.

Next came a brand new Capri 2.8i Special - the one with the fancy alloys, limited slip diff and, in a revolutionary move, a five speed gearbox. Disappointingly, this gearbox entirely lacked the snick-snick switchlike quality of change so beloved of 1970s Ford afficianados.

Escort, Capri, Cortina or Granada, those gearboxes fairly clicked into place. One's first Ford (and usually last) with a woolly indecisive gear box was a major blow to all of us I think.

Yes, I remember a chap I knew who sold his Mk 2 RS2000 (theone with the nose cone, you know) and bought an XR3. When I drove it I almost puked.
