I had just typed in an enourmously long and detailed post explaining to our dear friend Richard that the GDPR was about a lot more than just stopping spam emails, complete with example scenarios and parallels to the non-data world when it all went ping and I lost it.

My initial wonder was that I had not seen a consent email in an account I rarely look at, and as a result all data relating to me on AWIMB, including my login, had been deleted.

Then I saw that everyone else had lost their logins too. How I laughed.
