Mind you, the alternative is ugly door handles. And no-one wants that.

I actually get quite excited when I get trade catalogues through the post.

I got really carried away and bought a petrol garden strimmer over the weekend. Time to get serious with my garden. Let battle commence.

I was given one a few years ago when I worked in that industry. A really good Ryobi job with push-button start. I no longer have it, sadly, since it resides at the ex's house. I'm actually going to have to shell out for a new one, aren't I?

I actually do have a key for emergencies, but sneaking in and nicking stuff would have the potential to cause disharmony between me and my ex, which is really not a good plan. Besides, I declared a moratorium on reclaiming my stuff some time ago on the grounds that it would become a source of irritation and was unfair on my ex. I left, so I figured that, in doing so, I forfeited the right to go around asking for my stuff back.
