Thread: Anyone had Tennis Elbow?

    Anyone had Tennis Elbow?

Proper pain in the hole, it is.

Had to give up all sport and exercise other than cardio, indefinitely

Weighing up a steroid injection but I hear they are rather hit and miss.

I imagine it's put a bit of a dent in your sex life as well?

What is it exactly? A muscle strain or a tendony thing?

I once pulled a muscle in my shoulder after wheeling out my immensely powerful forehand

    I read that as 'forehead'

It's often referred to as tendonitis, but I think it can technically be muscle-related only. It's caused by repetitive actions that use the elbow. My cleaner got it from pulling pints in a pub.

Sounds a bit like mild gout, if so then that must be painful
'Seems that I was busy doing something close to nothing
But different than the day before'

'Met a dwarf that was no good, dressed like Little Red Riding Hood'

    'Now you're unemployed, all non-void
Walkin' round like you're Pretty Boy Floyd'

Serving at tennis and doing that sort of flash, whippet throwing thing in cricket fvcked my shoulder. These days, I can throw a couple of balls, but then my shoulder will go, leaving my arm numb, weak and tingling and I’ll have to go into the slips.

David Gower has the same thing, I believe.
