    Nicely done, Premier League.

Our game tonight will finish, assuming no extra time, at around 10 UK time, so the very earliest we can arrive back in the UK is 4 or 5 a.m. No doubt our players will spend tomorrow asleep, ensuring their body clocks are nicely fúcked, before flying to Newcastle on Saturday for the early kick off on Sunday. That is absolute madness. What's wrong with the Monday night slot?

Our game against Newcastle is a bit of a pointless affair (for us at least), though. Is anyone actually going to watch it?

We're three points behind Chelsea, whose form is dreadful, and we have a relatively benign run in, so we should be aiming for 5th. That's the point of football, to finish as far up the table as you can.

For some clubs, perhaps. For us, it's about getting into the top 4 and/or winning the Europa League. The former isn't going to happen so Wenger is rightly concentrating on the EL.

That way he gets at least one more year, and potentially a few more.

    Nobody likes Monday night football.
