I have never had a Negroni though just last evening was reading about them.

Tbh I am not sure they would be my thing. Much prefer a pint.

On a balmy evening in a Sicilian piazza, they are perfect. A proper, grown up drink.

However, their utility on a late winter evening in Kent is - to my mind - debatable.

Funny I was recently drinking Negronis with a Frenchman and an Italian in NY and they assured me that they were an après ski drink on the continent.
