Why are you all ganging up on Sir C? The rules of the game

    are unequivocal,

Rule 21.13 - Defending long balls.
When a defending player has taken a stationary position having judged the flight of the ball, no opponent may take any action that would alter the defending players ability to make his intended contact with the ball. The referee may apply the law more vigorously when the defending player is a clearly a big wet useless flappy fannyhole.

I don't see what he's on about, to be honest. Even the Germans had a good laugh about it, which is especially telling as young Mustafi is one of their own, as it were, and also that they are firmly of the opinion that referees in England must supplement their incomes working the odd shift officiating in the NFL. Or even in the WWE.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
