The same way as the other night against Östersund for the third. Not even sure why he set up to play on the counter when he had a back 5 and no wingers.

    JUST LEAVE!!!!

The defending has been an issue for years. But, this season really is something else. The amount of basic errors and players who don't seem to understand their role, is quite staggering.

I disagree about the first goal. If Mustafi was confident he was under the flight of the ball, Aguero running goal-side is irrelevant. Mustafi can simply stand his ground and head the ball away. Aguero pushing him in the back, however gently, knocks him from under the ball and is a foul. It doesn't look good, I grant you. But it is a foul.

No, that's not even a foul in girls' football! Embarrassing from the big German; brilliant centre-forward play from the Latino Giftzwerg.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

No, it's a foul. A push in the back is always a foul. Given that they weren't within playing distance of the ball, it would have been a penalty in a rugby match, for God's sake.

No, sorry my Dutch friend, I am not having that.

Contact, a coming together, Mustafi backing into Aguero, Aguero nudging Mustafi, pick whichever you want, but not a foul.

Christ there would be hundreds of frees in games in we were to go down the route you suggest.

He pushed him in the back. That's a foul.

Mustafi had his eye on the ball and did not once appear to look, did you expect Aguero to simply step aside and allow him safe passage?

C’mon now, not even Wenger clutched at that straw.

It was utterly abysmal defending by the German.

I am now simply going to accept you are being obtuse and argumentative and bid you a good day.

So you're saying that Aguero didn't push him in the back? It certainly looked that way to me. Perhaps I imagined it.

Stating the truth is not being obtuse, my dear fellow. Failing to mindlessly engage with the 'Mustafi is rubbish and the incident looked embarrassing therefore it must have been Mustafi's fault' isn't argumentative.

Sorry, sc. That is never, ever a foul.

What it was, was worse than school-boy defending.

Edit - just rewatched, Aguero didn't push Mustafi, he stood his ground.
