Been injured but did seem "odd" that we were 4-0 up, our regular LB goes off and we don't bring on a specialist in that position who hasn't played much recently

No idea, but I think he needs to stop with that ****. AMN is great on the ball and his pace gets him out of a lot of tricky situations but his positioning is awful. Time to play defenders in defense, especially if we are playing four at the back (which is what I expect we will do going forward).

AMN also plays too many careless balls from that position, needs to tighten that up.

Probably played him more than he planned early doors - he does like to give these new boys time off in their early months (see Xhaka last season) and then he got the injury (which was a terrible tackle from Barry, I seem to recall, which wasn't even a card). Haven't heard anything of a rift with Arsene

Rumour is he doesn't like him at LB in a 4, only comfortable with him at LWB

Oh that is more than a rumour - he said as much

‘He is highly suited for a wing-back role, for a more offensive role,’ Wenger said. ‘I think he will play again and I gave him a breather as well. He is working hard and I think he will play in a back four, as well."

Might be working on his fitness - might also be more of an option when the team settles down post Alexis
