I don't know how those stats compare with other strikers. Is it a total anomaly for a player of his ilk to give the ball away so much? Could it be skewed by the fact that he is often trying to create for us and therefore eschews 'safe' passes?

Also, what were his stats in the two previous games when he was, by all accounts, fantastic?

They are terrible by any measure - if you can't see it by watching him and ignore the stats, you probably should get another hobby, tbh. You are ****ing clueless about football.

Maybe I don't. I guess this is also why no decent clubs have any interest in signing him

He's a good player - he is not one of the best ten players in the world. You argue like a child

He is still very frustrating though. Surely you would admit that

I dunno, it's weird, I can see the stats are terrible, but I honestly can't say he ever frustrates me. I have no obvious reason to defend him any more than any other player, but it seems to be a blindspot. I get infinitely more frustrated with, say, Bellerin, who I sometimes think has managed to con the entire football world into thinking he's anything beyond average.

I just think Sanchez is fúcking great. Whilst not a like-for-like comparison at all, he's the closest thing we've had to Henry in terms of being able to do lots of things very, very well, with the added benefit of being absolutely insatiable in his desire.

I think he would probably be even worse in a better side. City dodged a bullet there. THey absolutely do not need him.

Oh, I think they certainly do need him; apart from Kun, their first change is not as good as Alexis. They want to compete with Manchester United, Bayern München, Barcelona and Real Madrid too, after all. PSG as well.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

even if he creates 'one moment of magic' it's not worth all the possession he loses.

it's like if I played in a 5-a-side (non awimb won) and my team loses 10-1 but I score the tremendous 1 goal.
