space of time, completely dropped the word 'like' as a piece of meaningless punctuation from their everyday speech. It has altogether disappeared.
Now let us hope that the army of twenty something ****seeds, who think it makes a poorly constructed sentence interesting, will soon follow suit. This morning, some little wánkeress, a talking head expert type on BBC Breakfast, used it and I very near put a foot through my old telly.
