Dear Lord, this socialist-lite 'Conservative' governement is delivering

    a full-blown socialist budget.

A new railcard to save money for people aged between 26 and 30? What utter nonsense is this?

What an odd way to spell government.

trying to lure da yoot vote?

seems an odd demographic to choose. And why on Earth is that not age discrimination? Not sure what the legitimate aim of imposing this would be.

I mean, I might be slightly out of the 26-30 sector of the Venn diagram, but it has the potential to piss of a 31 year old.

Yes, why does a bloke of 28 get to travel on a train 30% cheaper than me or his 31 year old neighbour? It's absurd.

But he can also afford a house. He may have to give up owning a smartphone, drinking lattes and going on stag dos to Tallinn, but, you know, so did we all.

I know that. You know that. But the notion that you have to sacrifice luxuries in order to afford other things is lost on them. This generation sees luxuries as basic human rights. They are, to put it simply, spoilt rotten.

Right. Giving up our smart phones before they were invented was an amazing sacrifice. wd us.

But seriously, the cost of housing is out of control, and blaming millenials for being whiny doesn't really cover it imo. The stamp duty thing is a good tax cut.

And making rail travel cheaper for them encourages them to get a place further out of town. And where I work we do discounts to U30s as they have less disposable income.
