Yes I suspect MD was not a viable option because of his many injuries, now Elneny is not as easy to understand.

The absence of Lacazette had me swearing out loud and being told off for it. Just don’t get it myself but who are you or I to question AW etc. Hindsight being a marvellous thing altogether would allow us to suggest Sanchez should not have played but then if you don’t play him he might get upset and not sign the new deal waiting for him in his agent’s office.

Didn't watch the game, only highlights, but seemed strange to not go with what worked at Chelsea.

    Wenger out

We ran out of central defenders apparently. Injury, illness; that sort of thing.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Apart from the two players on the bench who have played there in europa league games. It was a baffling decision.

At least I get the lacazette decision even if I think it's absurd.

Yeah, but if you have no actual specialists, all bets are off, I reckon.

    Agree about #LacaWasteOfMoney though

Debuchy is arguably far closer to being a specialist than the other two. And far better at it. It would also have allowed Koscielny to stay in the centre of the three.

We would still have lost, obviously.
