I've always thought that the workplace should have a greater freedom to act in a lewd/unpleasant manner than any other sphere of life. When you have to put on your professional face for clients (and sometimes colleagues), being able to walk out of a meeting or put the phone down and say something utterly terrible about the person you've just been interacting with is an important release valve.
