I hardly think one needs to be 'swivel eyed' in order to shake one's head in wonder at the way in which 'the left' has created rigid orthodoxies around comforting, but nonsensical fantasies rather than ever risk giving offence with the truth. One merely needs to have a nodding acquaintance with the concept of empirical truth, surely?

None of Steinbeck is. They're kiddies' books, really. Much his best was Cannery Row.

No. I read it when I was about 10 or 11, I think. I liked it then.

    Poor old anus.
Women being wrong'uns isn't a problem. It's men with their predisposition to criminality and inclination to sack off their kids when they can't be arsed with the responsibility who are the cause of most of society's ills.

Mental women are barely distinguishable from sane ones, anyway

Well, yes, but without my giving them something to toil at, they'd have fúck all toiling to do. That is my toil, I create the toil. This toil creates money, which is taken by the Revenue and given to lazy people.

    This process is called 'socialism'.
