In May we had switched to a new formation, gone on a nice run of 10 games or so and then beat Chelsea in the FA Cup.
Believe it or not, Trent, there were people dumb enough to believe that we were good enough to challenge for the league on that basis.
Our average points total in the league is 73 pts, over the last 9 seasons. The last time we got over 80 pts was 10 seasons ago in 2008. We are not winning another league title under Wenger. The claim from the club that they were targeting over 85 pts this year was laughable.
