    Bond gone.

    I must say, I am partial to a marmalade sandwich. Must be the chunky stuff, though, and the bread needs to be processed white sliced.

    Nope, died yesterday, apparently.

    I remember always being upset about poor Paddington being abandoned and sent to London, presumably in order to send money home. Were his family Irish?

    He was from Peru was he not?

    Begs the question how he got all the way from Peru to London on his own.

    I very much doubt it. Actually we buried her in an outfit by her favourite deigner, an Irish lady called Vonnie Reynolds. Made from a peculiarly heavy material, it made her look positively regal. My guess is that it survives to this day, although a lot depends on the water table at the garveyard, apparently.
