No idea but given that nothing happened - ie no-one has left the club been punished or anything one can only assume he is exaggerating and trying to create a big mystery about why we were so crap for several games.

But, hang on, that's pretty much what happens every season. Wenger always manages to redeem himself by winning a string of games against mid - lower table opposition. It creates an excited air of expectation about the place.
If only we didn't have to play against those basterd top 4 or 5 clubs every year.
