Yesterday we displayed all those qualities that we appeared not to possess

It just shows that the players do have the character and fight within them. The frustrating thing is where has that been all season?
"Scoring a goal is better than sex" - Whoever said that was sticking it to the wrong woman

I suspect the wenger situation hasn't helped. Now they seem to know he is staying the players attidues seem to have changed. There's is FA vid in the tunnel on YouTube showing wenger congratulating all the players and they all seem happy. Even Wenger looks better appearance wise

Just stick £100m on the table for Mbeppe now. His wages will be fine, so we can still pay Alexis his £300k a week and then Mesut can take what he wants from what's left.

Yes, we were terrific. It's just a shame we can't play Manchester City every week; they have the same issues we do and play the way we wish everyone would play.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Yep. They are the only big rival we seem not to mind playing against. Partly because of how they play (like us), but also because we don't have loads of psychological baggage and don't generally dislike them as a club.

Absolutely. They've only been a #bigrival for about the past twenty minutes.

So in other words, "It was only Man City"

It was Pep. Veng would've loved that.

And if you put the euphoria of a cup final place aside, they dominated the first half and but for some fortuitous referee decisions and some second half woodwork we might have lost fairly easily.

None of which denigrates the second half and extra time performances which were mostly excellent.

Just needs some perspective given how bad we've been recently.
