So we're left with £590 per week to pay for motoring expenses, eating out, holidays and staff?

    Fúck off. Impossible.

Obviously you can live reasonably comfortably on £70k (assuming you don't have a mortgage, naturally) but 'rich'? Absolute nonsense.

Shows how out of touch with ordinary people the left is.
So it's the top 5%. Surprisingly low value. I'd have figured that at over £100k. I'd happily pay more tax if I thought it would do any good, but I'd imagine they'll just piss it up the wall anyway.

After tax that would get you one year at a good boarding school.

    Sadly

Average salary in the U.K. is something like 25k so using that as a basis 70k is probably not totally illogical being almost 3 times the average

As your earnings increase so do your outgoings, bigger house, nicer car, nicer holidays. You need to get over 500k to really feel flush, anything over that just goes into the pot for the supercar collection

But different than the day before'

'Met a dwarf that was no good, dressed like Little Red Riding Hood'

    'Now you're unemployed, all non-void
Walkin' round like you're Pretty Boy Floyd'
