Seems a bit odd to me.
Take Palace for instance. You knew you had to win. Why weren't the players there sooner.
Get there early, have a walk around the pitch, small team talk, long warm up then back in for a final team and pep talk to get the players right in the zone.
You even have time to re iterate tactics.
45 minutes seems way to short to be prepared for a match at this level.
No wonder we start these games like zombies.
