    I used to think that but clearly being utterly stranded out of his depth in a dinghy burdened by baffling decisions and statements, he clearly felt principles were the things weighing him down and threatening to sink him, rather than the coterie of ridiculous hangers-on who still, despite all evidence, believe he can win an election.     We are talking about a man who toured the DDR and continued to promote socialism.

    No one describes neo-Nazis as principled.
